The Junior Eagles completed a sweep of the District 2 Junior Championships undefeated with wins of 7-2 and 10-0 over CFR and 10-5 over Pinecrest/West Carleton. Nick and Carlos both pitched exceptional games but it was the contributions of all 12 players that was the highlight of the tournament for the coaches.
The Eagles move on to play in the Ontario Provincials which will be hosted by South Ottawa at the Ron Milks Diamond on Smyth Road starting July 28 at 2:00 pm against the District 5 Champions.
