Minor 'A' Eagles are the 2009 Minor Canadian District 2 & 6 Summer champions, with a 7-4 win over South Ottawa 'A'. South Ottawa 'A' were off to a great start, scoring 3 runs in the first inning. However Nicholas KG and Liam D, backed by some solid defense, restricted the visitors to a single run in the next 5 innings. On the offense, Eagles produced some great hits, knocking in 5 runs in the bottom of 4th, to take the eventual game-winning lead.
In the Minor National championship game, South Ottawa emerged as Champions defeating the home team EN-Minor B1 by a score of 10-8.
Minor All-star Eagles won the District 2 Championship, Summer City Championship and finished runners in Pinecrest Minor 'A' Summer Classic tournament.
Minor B1 finished runners in the National division City Championship.
Minor B2 won the consolation championship at the Scott Tokessy Tournament.
Minor B3 won the Pinecrest Minor 'B' Summer Classic Championship.
