Rookie Eagles Team 4 are Summer 2009 Champions

The Rookie Eagles team 4 are the East Nepean's Summer ball champions with a 7-6 win over Rookie Eagles team 5.

This was one of the best rookie games I have seen. Both teams were tied 1-1 going into the bottom of the fifth inning with some of the best defense we have seen . Then team 4's bats came to life and scored 5 runs with 2 outs and took the lead 6-1 at the end of the fifth inning . Top of the sixth team 5 not to be out done answered back by getting five runs to tie the game 6-6 and hold team 4 at the bottom of sixth and force extra innings . Team 4's defense struck back and they were able to hold team 5 from scoring in the seventh inning but Team 4 was able to get one run in the bottom of the seventh and take the win 7-6

Rookie Eagles team 3 finished the season by winning the consolation game by coming back over team 2 at the bottom of the sixth inning to take the win 8-7.
