Volunteers Needed

East Nepean is always looking for new individuals to join our team of volunteers.

Currently for 2025, we have several Board of Directors positions open:

Divisional Director: Required for 2025 - TBALL, ROOKIE, JUNIOR, SENIOR, U19

Position Start Timeline: Immediately

A Divisional Director is responsible for the coordination of a specific age group. The position assists in the development of sort-out plans for spring season, creation of teams for spring, summer and fall programs and is responsible for oversight and co ordination of games in your division ( ie. rescheduling games if a game is cancelled).

In addition, you will attend Board of Directors meetings. These are more frequent leading up to the season and playing season, and are occasional during the off season.

Estimated time commitment would be 4 hours a week during the playing season. Although this will vary during the season, with additional hours during different points of the season ( start up etc) and minimal during the off season

 

Other Board of Director openings 

In addition to our Divisional Directors, the ENLL Board of Directors is made up of additional positions that are fundamental to game play. Below are current openings for 2025:

Uniform Director:

This director is responsible for distribution and collection of uniforms at the beginning and end of each season (Spring, summer and Fall). The Uniform Director is responsible for organizing and sorting uniforms their sizing for the appropriate age group.

The position will also work as required with the President to order any uniform items that are missing in inventory. ENLL provides players with a uniform, socks, belt and a hat. These are distributed at the beginning of each season, however only the belt and uniform are collected  at the end of the season.

The Uniform Director is responsible to coordinate with Divisional Directors/ Coaches on pick up and return of uniforms- this position has peak volume times at the beginning and end of each season.

Tournament Co-Ordinator 

In addition to regular practices/ games, ENLL often hosts several tournaments throughout the playing season. Our Tournament Co-ordinator is responsible for oversight of tournaments. This includes, planning and timing of tournaments (including field allocation, umpires, scheduling, organizing medals, trophies etc. The position works closely with Divisional Directors of the age group of the tournament and the Registrar.

Time commitment varies from year-to-year dependent on the number of tournaments hosted by ENLL
