Head Coaches WANTED for 2026 Little League All-Star Teams

As East Nepean Little League, prepares to conclude its successful 2025 Summer All Star Program, we now turn our focus to the 2026  All Star Season.

East Nepean Little League is reaching out to members to advise of All Star coaching opportunities for the 2026 season. During the 2026 season, East Nepean is planning to field the following teams and is seeking Coaches for each team:

  • Minor (age 9 and 10)
  • Major (age 11 and 12) – acclaimed Steven Cote, 2025 All Star Major Coach returning
  • Intermediate (age 13)
  • Junior (age 13 and 14)
  • Senior (age 15 and 16)

The successful coaches will be leaders who not only hold a position of trust and responsibility in the program but are also sensitive to the mental and physical limitations of children of these age groups and recognize that the game is a vehicle of training and enjoyment, not an end in itself.

 Coaching candidates must demonstrate the following to be considered:

· Baseball knowledge through experience in baseball (coaching, playing, officiating and/or convening)

· Coaching knowledge through experiences in coaching baseball or other sports (certification)

· The ability to work with similar age groups as required by the position (in sports, volunteer organizations or professionally)

· The ability to handle similar levels of competition (in baseball or other sports)

· A track record in terms of objectives achieved consistent with the level of competitiveness required of previous positions

· Commitment level – through personal time available

In addition to the above criteria, the selection committee will also be focused on your overall coaching philosophy. You are encouraged to outline your philosophy and approach in your submission.

Deadline for application is September 21st,2025.

  1. Cover Letter, highlighting your coaching philosophy
  2. Resume of your coaching experience
  3. Summary of your availability for the months of Nov-August to dedicate to the team
  4. Draft outline of your anticipated plans, activities for the team if awarded ( not final- general approach to team creation and approach to build a teams skills towards to playdowns.)
  5. Three References
  6. Police Record Check – Vulnerable Sector ( note, this can be submitted after if required, however no coach will be granted a coaching position until a PRC is received)
