Girls Baseball

Girls baseball continues to grow and thrive in Ottawa!
To ensure the Girls program is available for all age groups, we need coaches at all levels. If a coach is not available, a division will not be able to run.

Details:

1.) Age Brackets:

• Rookie (7-8 years old)
• Minor (9-10 years old)
• Major (11-12 years old)
• Junior (13-14 years old)
• Senior (15-16 years old)

3.) Schedule:
The Girls program runs from the beginning of May to the end of July. Games are played on Sundays and home diamonds rotate among all participating leagues.

Practices can be added to a team’s schedule at the coaches’ discretion (day(s) and time(s) are determined by the coach).

4.) Equipment
Players will be provided with a team jersey, pants and belt (to be returned at the end of the season), as well as socks and hat (which they can keep).
Players are responsible for providing their own batting helmet, jill and appropriate footwear (i.e. running shoes or baseball cleats).

5.) Registration

You are recommended to register early as there is limited space in each division.
